Most modern panoramic cameras with built in panoramic features do nothing more than take a standard picture and in developing, crop the photograph and enlarge it to panoramic size.
         The Widelux F8 is a true panoramic camera with a really wide angle, a 140° horizontal field and weighs only 30 ounces. The Widelux F8 uses 35mm film which results in a 24mm x 59mm (1"x 2.33") negative which can be enlarged by most 6 x 6 enlargers. The camera can also be used to take transparencies, which can be projected with any 6 x 6 projector when mounted in a Widelux Slide Mount.
